Assoc. Prof. Ali Baran Budak, MD – Peripheral Vascular Surgery
He was born in 1977 in Ankara. He completed his secondary education at TED Ankara College. After graduating from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2000, he started his specialization in Cardiovascular Surgery at Turkey Yüksek İhtisas Hospital. After becoming a specialist in 2007, he fulfilled his compulsory service and military service obligations. He was awarded the Scientific Research Honorary Award in Experimental Research in 2010. In 2011, he established the Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic in Ankara Training and Research Hospital. He worked at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital between 2013-2019. In 2019, he served at Derecik Mobile Field Hospital as part of Operation Claw2 and was awarded a “Service Appreciation Certificate”. He worked at Başkent University Alanya Practice and Research Hospital between 2020-2022, and in the meantime, he has been serving as the “Key Opinion Leader (KOL)” of Becton Dickinson (BD) Company from the USA since 2018. Endovascular, hybrid and surgical treatments of peripheral vascular diseases (acute-chronic), Deep Vein Thrombosis and Varicose veins; adjuvant treatments of diabetic foot and venous ulcers; arteriovenous fistula creation and recovery for hemodialysis; EVAR-TEVAR and adult coronary artery diseases are of special interest. He has more than 60 articles published in domestic and international journals, more than 150 citations to these articles, 6 books in which he contributed to the chapter authorship or translation, and more than 50 papers presented at domestic and international academic meetings.
About Training Program
Aims and Objectives of Training: The aim is to inform physicians and health workers about the latest technology treatments of this disease, which can cause serious complications such as foot wounds, vein occlusions and pulmonary embolism if not treated, and which is common in the society at all ages and in the occupational sector. These treatments and more are done in our clinic.
